Pascual Antonio Aguilar Barraza (n. 17 de mayo de 1919-f.19 de junio de 2007) fue un actor, cantante, productor, guionista y charro mexicano. Su discografía sobrepasa los 100 álbumes con ventas de más de 25 millones de copias. Al despuntar la década de los cincuenta debutó como actor en el cine, al tiempo que se inició como cantante, faceta de su carrera que se extiende hasta los primeros años de la década de 2000. Es considerado una leyenda de la música popular mexicana. Actuó en 167 películas y recorrió el mundo en diversas giras junto a su esposa Flor Silvestre y sus hijos Antonio Aguilar Jr. y Pepe Aguilar. Es reconocido como la persona que dio un gran impulso al deporte y talento mexicano de la charrería a nivel nacional como internacional, y es por esto que lo apodan «El Charro de México».
